Osaka Hostel Going To Japan, Have A Few Questions About Cash, Shopping, Sightseeing?

Going to Japan, have a few questions about cash, shopping, sightseeing? - osaka hostel

Next week I'm going to Japan for 11 days. I will be ¥ 200,000. Some questions ..

1) Is this sufficient for 11 days? I'm in a hostel in Osaka in the first 4 days and stay with a Japanese family in Tokyo on.
2) Can I change euros and travelers checks in Japan at the airport? Or should I switch to yen, before you go?
3) Where can I find a great price, without clothes called? And there are others who see the "" in Osaka / Tokyo?

1, I think that's enough.

2: Yes, I think you can.

3 for the store in Shibuya and Harajuku, Tokyo. I do not know much about Osaka.

1: As can be economical to do, probably.

2: Better conversion rates at the Narita airport in general.

3: That depends on your height .. e average Japanese is a little smaller than a Western country so that it can be very difficult to find things that fit.

Make sure you touch the shrines. In particular, the Yasukuni Shrine. Not get caught in the hype / political outcry. It is responsible for a beautiful memorial for war dead (as in the National Cemetery in Arlington, USA), while in Ueno Park is also interesting to see at a glance, museums, especially Japanese history. Rodin's Gates of Hell "from the Museum of Western Art is my favorite.

I answer, he believes the others seem to be covered: P

Well ... Osaka, I am not very much. Theres Osaka Castle. But Osaka is very close to Kyoto, which has seen a surprising amount, so you can, if (a fairly cheap), then you should go for it!

Theres Tonnnnnneeesss best places in Tokyo.
Major shopping areas such as Shinjuku and Shibuya. Shibuya looks fantastic, especially at night.
Harajuku fashion, if you want to see crazy: D and also a look at Meiji Jingu shrine take there.
Yoyogi Park, Imperial Palace, Tokyo Tower (Minato-ku)
We need also to the nearby city of Yokohama and take a look at Minato Mirai, as it seems a very good night:)

1) will do, depending on the amount of travel and what kind of things .. But during the 11 days ¥ 200,000 sounds like it should be sufficient.

2) I have many friends and many family members who had bad experiences with checks in Japan had to know. You can not in any bank and exchange a few banks or branches .. and only at certain hours or days. I had a problem, but I think I got lucky with a bank near where I lived. It's the same story with the exchange of money, even if it be simpler and in tourist areas. I found the best way is to use a single debit from your bank account to withdraw money from cash .. You receive no bad guy, not as good as controls, but not so bad. Try to avoid changing money in the amount of cos the airport are not so good.

3) I like QLO Kingdom of choice, quality and price. There are cheaper places, but it is very good, I think.

Sukiji fish market in Tokyo is very interesting to visit.
