How does bowel ischemia cause acidosis? - bowel acidosis

Mesenteric or intestinal ischemia is a medical condition in which inflammation and injury of the small intestine, the result of an inadequate supply of blood. Causes of decreased blood flow can include changes in the systemic circulation (eg, low blood pressure) or local factors such as constriction of blood vessels or blood clots. It is more common in older people.

Three progressive ischemic colitis have been described by:

A) a phase of hyperactivity experience pain, first round, in which the main symptoms are severe and the passage of blood in the stool. Many patients improve and not go through this phase.
